I thought I'd have a little fun today. Here are a couple of trades that I believe would really benefit the Cowboys going forward.
Trade Greg Ellis
Send our second round pick (51) and Greg Ellis to Cleveland for their second round pick (37)
The Cleveland Browns desperately need a 3-4 rush outside linebacker as Willie McGinest is 37 and Kamerion Wimbley so far could be called a bust. Trading down 14 spots in the second to gain Greg Ellis would be a no brainer for the Browns.
Trading to the top of the second round would virtually assure us of having our pick of any safety in the draft. It is imperative to get this pick right because this pick represents the future at safety for the Cowboys. My favorite at this position changes daily. (LOL)
Trade For Atlanta's 2nd Round Pick
Send our third round pick (69) , 3 fifth round picks (1, 20 and 30) and a seventh (18) to Atlanta for their second round pick (55) and select Clint Sintim OLB from Virginia
Atlanta only trades down 14 spots ...
