John Abraham knew a little about Jake Long, the behemoth across the line on Sunday. The Falcons defensive end knew a lot, however, about Chad Pennington, his Jets teammate for six seasons. He knew that Pennington would usually retreat only about three steps after taking a snap. He knew it was pointless to sprint around Long to get to Pennington, who would just step up and out of harm's way.
