Adrian Peterson wouldn’t have been named the 2012 NFL MVP if it weren’t for his offensive lineman, and the star running back is showing his appreciation for his big guys in a very Minnesota kind of way. Peterson gave his offensive lineman snowmobiles, all personalized with each player’s name and number on the windshields to show his gratitude for all that they did and continue to do. Peterson rushed for 2,097 yards in 2012, falling only nine yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson‘s record that he set in 1984. A.P. had a lot of help leading him to become just the seventh running back in NFL history to run for 2,000 or more yards in a season, however, and some pretty awesome toys are the rewards for all of the hard work they put in. Currently, Peterson is on pace to rush for even more yards than he did in the 2012 season, and the snowmobiles can only serve as inspiration to make history once again. The O-line could be receiving jet skis in 2014 — although, those might not get as much use in Minnesota. Check out pictures of the gifts below. A look at the snowmobiles that @AdrianPeterson presented to the offensive lineman. #ArcticCat http://t.co/BOZNWpoIWN— Minnesota Vikings (@Vikings) October 26, 2013 A great day to be a #Vikings offensive lineman! http://t.co/aaiI161lyT— Minnesota Vikings (@Vikings) October 26, 2013   Filed under: Anna Fogel, Headlines, NFL
