Adrian Peterson plans to play in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers even as his son is in critical condition following an attack from the boyfriend of the child’s mother. “I really appreciate all the support from fans and the Vikings,” Peterson said after Friday’s practice, via the Pioneer Press. “I ask y’all respect my privacy.” Peterson described himself as “ready to roll” and told reporters that “I’m able to release a lot of stress though sports.” Adrian Peterson said he plans to play.
