The AFC North is arguably toughest division top-to-bottom in the NFL. The defending Super Bowl champions, Baltimore Ravens, and the Pittsburgh Steelers ranked as a top-10 defensive unit yearly, and in rushing offense. The Cincinnati Bengals ranked in the top-10 defensively for the second straight season. Moreover, the Cleveland Browns are changing their team identity under Rod Chudzinski with offensive coordinator Norv Turner focusing on ball-control with Trent Richardson, and defensive coordinator Ray Horton collecting a stable of defensive linemen and linebackers for his exotic zone-blitzing schemes.However, the Ravens and the Steelers are the class of the division. Several pre-season battles will go a long way in determining if Baltimore and Pittsburgh can continue their stranglehold on the AFC North title.
