TEAMS: San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs
ESPN’s John Clayton joined Arizona Sports 620 on Thursday and mentioned that should the 49ers release QB Alex Smith, there’s a good chance that he will make a “beeline” straight for the Cardinals.
“Oh, they’re bluffing in that way because they’re trying to get trade value and in some ways, they need to get trade value because I would have to think that if he’s released, he’ll make a beeline to Arizona and compete against the 49ers two times a year for the next several years,” Clayton said, via ArizonaSports.com.
Clayton believes the Browns are the team watch in regards to a trade, due to the fact that they play in the AFC versus the same division.
San Francisco intends to shop Smith around before deciding whether or not to release him outright. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have also come up as speculative options for the Smith, but there’s been more talk of Cleveland having interest than the other teams.

Colin Kaepernick's new hot model girlfriend J Marie
Word on the street is that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has a new model girlfriend named J Marie. Clearly this is a modeling name, but we are determined to find out who this chick really is. For now all we know is that she is an Asian bikini and glamour model. That's good enough for me. Check out her hottest pics in the gallery below.

San Francisco 49ers open up No. 2 WR slot
For the “greatest wide receiver of all-time,” the self-acclaimed Randy Moss went from Super Bowl to Super Bummed in a matter of 3.5 days. He is now no longer a Niner.
The San Francisco 49ers have ended the season with an aging Moss, who turns 36 next week.
According to statistics researched by staff writer Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, Kaepernick heavily favored...
49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick Picks Up What Could Be His Biggest Fan In Terrell Suggs, Nothing But Praise Coming Colin’s Way
The 49ers young quarterback Colin Kaepernick could have just picked up one of his biggest fans with his performance in Super Bowl 47. Terrell Suggs is signing nothing but praise for the 9ers Q.B.. With the performance Kaepernick put on in the second half of the Super Bowl, he made a believer out of the Ravens hard-hitting linebacker. Suggs thought there was far too much hype about...
49ers’ A.J. Jenkins says he’s going to be a “totally different player” next season
According to the Sacramento Bee, former first round pick A.J. Jenkins says he’s going to be a different player next season after essentially doing nothing as a rookie in 2012.
The 49ers’ 2012 first-round draft pick said he wants to return next season as “a totally different player” and that he planned to work out with buddy Colin Kaepernick during the offseason.
“Obviously...
49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh: An Insufferable Douche Bag
When on the MTRRadio.com Super Bowl Pregame show I heard radio personality James Flippin call the 49ers coach “An Insufferable Douche Bag”. At the time I thought it was a little harsh but not having any skin in the Super Bowl, I let it go thinking he was just over overstating his dislike a bit?
A week later I realized that he was spot on.
Super Bowl Winning Head Coach JOHN...
Potential 2013 San Francisco 49ers roster changes
The 2012 season is over for the San Francisco 49ers, and now we look onto the potential 2013 San Francisco 49ers roster changes. The 49ers will be potentially saying goodbye to 15 players who hit free agency in 2013. The number 1 player the 49ers have to lock down in 2013 is Dashon Goldson. The 49ers tried to get a contract extension done in 2012, but the talks fell apart. Now Goldson...

Flacco was ready to tackle Ginn Jr.
Sideline video shows how Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco said he was willing to tackle 49ers kick returner Ted Ginn, Jr. to keep him out of the end zone near the end of the game.
Colin Kaepernick’s new tattoos (Photo)
Now that the NFL season is over, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick added some more tattoos to his body. I think they look pretty good.
I don’t have any tattoos and don’t plan on getting any, but I do enjoy looking at the ones that other people get.

The Pros and Cons for Alex Smith
Small hands and game manager.
That's all I think of when Alex Smith comes to mind.
I don't exactly think those two traits are compliments. The small hands stuff comes from Tony Kornheiser, who used to say that and it added to his fumbling problem early in his career. The poor guy fumbled 15 times during the first three years of his career, 9 of them coming his rookie...

Mike Singletary Interviews For Rams Defensive Coordinator Job
NFL.com has confirmed that current Viking linebacker coach, Mike Singletary, has interviewed for the Rams defensive coordinator position.
Singletary has been wandering all over the league since his three year coaching stint with the San Francisco 49ers ended. Singletary has never held a job as a defensive coordinator before, but is a hall of fame line backer from that legendary...
49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh Says A 'Penalty Is A Penalty No Matter When It Occurs'
Given his inability to keep a straight face, Jim Harbaugh must be a horrible poker player. So it was hardly surprising when the 49ers coach told the media shortly after the Ravens' 34-31 Super Bowl win that he thought the officials missed a pass interference call on wide receiver Michael Crabtree that would've given the 49ers a first-and-goal with 1:50 to go in the game....
‘Saturday Night Live’ Mocks CBS’ Inability to Cover Super Bowl During Blackout (Video)
During last week’s Super Bowl, it was obvious that CBS had no idea how to handle the unexpected blackout that came just minutes after the halftime show. The analysts didn’t know how to break down what happened just minutes into the third quarter and sideline reporters Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots had no answers for why the blackout occurred. Bill Cowher even resorted to talking...
Report: Teams Being Told 2013 Cap Number Will Be $121.1 Million
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, teams are being told that the 2013 salary cap will be $121.1 million.
If indeed that report is correct, the $121.1 million number would be $200,000 more than John Clayton of ESPN reported in early January. Clayton reported at that time the number was expected to be $120.9 million.
Last year the salary cap number was $120.6 million...
