PLAYERS: Peyton Manning

Next Wednesday ‘South Park’ will feature their newest episode. Episode number 8 will pick up where season 16 left off on April 25th with the last episode entitled “Cartman Finds Love”. Based on the first half of season, the second half will most likely be in typical South Park fashion as witty, grotesque, blasphemous, and any other adjective that can describe Cartman’s mannerisms.

This beloved series has been mocking our culture since 1997, and it has and never will get old. It is amazing for any show to make it through 16 seasons, even when they admit to being redundant in making fun of our modern culture with the same outgoing tactics. Plus, how can you get sick of that pudgy anti-Semitic in the red coat and the blue hat.

Season 16 has already aired seven episodes starting way back in march. In a recap, here’s some of the best moments from each episode this year.

Episode 1601: Reverse Cowgirl

Episode 1602: Cash for Gold

Episode 1603: Faith Hilling

Episode 1604: Jewpacabra

Episode 1605: Butterballs

Episode 1606: I Should Have Never gone Ziplining

Episode 1607: Cartman Finds Love

So what recent events are they going to make fun of in the second half of this season? Perhaps the upcoming election, the NHL lockout, Peyton Manning taking the reigns in Denver? Whatever the theme, Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be doing much of the same for seven more Wednesdays. Hopefully this will continue into a seventeenth season because I don’t think America is ready to let go of these ageless fourth graders.
