Earlier today, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner went on the Dan Patrick Show and said that he wouldn’t want his kids to play football. Former New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer, who was actually a teammate of Warner’s for one season, doesn’t appreciate what he had to say and thinks he’s ruining the game of football. Toomer spoke his mind on NBC Sports Talk and said the following below. “I’d definitely have my son to play football,” Toomer said. “That’s what the Toomer family does. We all play football. But what this reminds me of is the guy at the basketball court, who once he gets done playing takes the ball and ruins the game for everybody else. I think Kurt Warner needs to keep his opinions to himself when it comes to this. Everything that he’s gotten in his life has come from playing football. He works at the NFL Network right now.   • Warner was asked his opinion, right? He gave his opinion as it related to HIS SON. NOT the toomer family. Amani should remember that every one is entitled to his opinion. Hey amami, don't you think there may be something to the injuries these guys incur and continue to play thru? No, not you. But look at Junior Seau, why did that happen?
