The Indianapolis Colts are already the pseudo-champions of the NFC. They have won at San Francisco and beat visiting Seattle last week. The 49ers and Seahawks opened the season as NFC Super Bowl favorites, and Seattle still is at 11-2 to win the conference. However, the Colts are, of course, in the AFC, where the offensively unstoppable Denver Broncos reside and are 5-1 overall Super Bowl favorites. Indianapolis is 18-1 entering their Week 6 Monday night game at San Diego, but the Colts will find themselves jumping up that list this week with two wins. The Colts opened as two-point favorites on Bovada against the Chargers, with Live Betting available. It’s the first Monday Night Football game for Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning‘s capable replacement. Luck, the No. 1 overall pick last year from Stanford, rallied the Colts from a 28-23 fourth-quarter deficit last week against the Seahawks for a 34-28 win, Seattle’s first loss in its past 10 regular-season games. Luck has already led nine ...

The Gray Area: Chargers End Colts’ Run Of “Luck”

Concluding the Week 6 NFL schedule will be the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers on “Monday Night Football,” which looks as if like it’ll be a high scoring contest. The Colts (4-1) will be coming into Qualcomm Stadium with a little more swagger, after a big win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5. The Chargers (2-3), for the time being, will be trying to get things...

Luck to make MNF debut against Chargers

Andrew Luck won't need permission to stay up for the second half of "Monday Night Football." Luck will make his Monday night debut when he and the AFC South-leading Indianapolis Colts visit Philip Rivers and the enigmatic San Diego Chargers. It'll be a big deal for Luck, especially if the Colts (4-1) beat the Chargers (2-3).

The Bearded Trio: 3 things to a Colts Win

After man-handling the 49ers and the Jaguars, and winning a tough contest with Seattle, the 4-1 Indianapolis Colts head west for Andrew Luck’s Monday Night debut against the San Diego Chargers. The Colts need to stay focused for this game, and not focus too far ahead to the monumental showdown against the Denver Broncos. The Colts will need to do three things to make sure Andrew...

Colts Injury Report: Ahmad Bradshaw, Laron Landry, Erik Walden

The Indianapolis Colts placed running back Ahmad Bradshaw on their injured reserve list this past week for the neck injury he suffered against the Jacksonville Jaguars in week four. At first, it looked like the veteran back would only miss a couple of weeks, but  the neck didn’t heal properly and Bradshaw elected to have surgery to repair the damage. This decision is not only...

Colts will have tribute for Manning

The Colts will pay tribute to Peyton Manning when he returns to Indianapolis next week. What exactly the team will do hasn't been finalized yet. Indy has usually celebrated the return of former longtime stars, such as Edgerrin James and Jeff Saturday, with a highlight reel of the players' careers between the third and fourth quarters. USA Today reported Wednesday that the...

Colts To Honor Peyton Manning In Week 7

The Indianapolis Colts plan to honor Manning for his 14 seasons with the organization when the Colts and Broncos play next Sunday according to USA Today Sports. “We’re going to have a great tribute to him,” Irsay told the newspaper. “It’s going to be something where you go into it wanting to have a lot of fun, where you love Peyton as a Colt fan, but now we’re competing...

A Good Test for the Pass Defense

The Indianapolis Colts will face the San Diego Chargers this week and their quarterback Philip Rivers. Rivers is a above average quarterback who provides a very good test for the Colts' pass defense. He also offers something the Colts have not faced this year, a real top 10 passing quarterback. The last few years, many were complaining about Philip Rivers' declining play....

Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers: 2013 Week 6 NFL Pick

Indianapolis Colts (4-1) at San Diego Chargers (2-3) I was dead wrong about the Colts this season. In my defense, the logic was sound. The Colts were not an 11 win team last year. 7 of their 11 wins came by a touchdown or less against a team that finished with a record of 7-9 or worse. They had a terrible offensive line and defense and finished the season 25th in DVOA, which I think...

Their performances over the last three weeks have all been statements to the rest of the league as to what kind of team this could be. Let’s see what the KIAF Writers Top Ten looks like this week. 1. San Diego Chargers Monday Night Football preview

After a gut wrenching loss late Sunday night against the Raiders, the Chargers now must refocus and go against one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.That quarterback is Andrew Luck. He's been nothing short of spectacular this year, and I'd argue he's already a top 5 QB in the league, yet is still underrated. He's really fun to watch. With most of the pressure...

Fantasy Football: Week 6 start 'em sit 'em QBs

Start Andrew Luck vs. Chargers. San Diego has allowed 12 touchdowns to opposing QBs this year to accompany over 335 yards per game. The only QB to not score multiple times against the Chargers this year is Jake Locker, and Andrew Luck is coming off of a strong week against the Seahawks.Start Robert Griffin III vs. Cowboys. RGIII put up over 500 yards and 5 touchdowns against the...

Indianapolis Colts: 2013 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings (#8)

Last week: 14 (+6) Record: 4-1 Either the Colts are a legitimate Super Bowl contender this season or the Seahawks still struggle on the road like last season (when they lost in Miami, St. Louis, Arizona, and Detroit). I think it’s a little bit of both. The Colts are a completely different team from last year. They didn’t deserve to win 11 games last year, but I was dead wrong...

Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans Week 6 gambling odds & handicapping

Betting on Seattle v Indy? Seahawks Look to Bounce Back on Home Turf The Seattle Seahawks return home this week from what was a fairly productive road trip — a win and a loss against two AFC powerhouses. The Hawks weren’t going to win every game this year, but showed that they can hang with absolutely anyone despite a heartbreaking loss to the Colts last week. The good news...
