Back in May, a collectibles company put 35 rookie NFL players together, gave them a 2.5 x 3.5 inch card, and asked them to draw something. Andrew Luck had Indianapolis on his mind when he gave the company his impression of Lucas Oil Stadium. Andrew Luck may not be the next da Vinci or Picasso, but the sketch is, if nothing else, somewhat comical. It would seem that even Andrew Luck realized his sketch wasn't terrific, leaving us the caption, "Lucas Oil Stadium. Home of the Colts!" Now, the stadium is also the football home of Andrew Luck. Let's hope his play is better than his artistic skills though. [follow]

Talking to Andrew Luck: Day 1

In his first official training camp practice, Colts' rookie quarterback Andrew Luck was once again very popular among the local and national media, fielding several questions Sunday afternoon. Colts Authority's own Nate Dunlevy's newly awarded credentials have given us access to the entire session, which we share with you here.  Overall, Luck comes across as a rookie...

Luck starts light as Colts camp opens

Andrew Luck didn't get much of a chance to show his strong right arm at Sunday morning's first training camp workout. Instead, the No. 1 draft pick is impressing new teammates with his command. Receiver Austin Collie says Luck knows the Colts' new offense better than the veterans, and another receiver, Donnie Avery, likes Luck's take-charge approach in the huddle...

Andrew Luck Hams It Up

I know I have the city’s hopes resting on my shoulders Juan… Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out of the draft since, well, since Peyton Manning. How “lucky” are the Colts to have been able to draft both these guys. The Colts offense will be better than most think and Luck could have a decent fantasy season. Mike Wallace could be on their radar in a possibly trade...

Luck, Colts report to camp

Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback and the No. 1 overall draft pick, reported to the team's first day of training camp in Anderson, Ind., Saturday. Luck easily garnered the most attention among the 90 Colts who reported at Anderson University in an otherwise uneventful day that included the players checking in, getting processed and moving into the dormitory...

Steelers fan forced to wear Andrew Luck jersey at Colts training camp

File this one under 'strange but true.' A Steelers fan attended the training camp of the Indianapolis Colts in Anderson, Ind. and was forced to wear an Andrew Luck jersey by head coach Chuck Pagano (former Raven) after arriving in a black James Harrison jersey. Pagano was alerted to the fan by Colts safety (and former Raven) Tom Zbikowski (anybody else noticing a pattern...

Colts coach gives Steelers fan Andrew Luck jersey

Even former Baltimore Ravens are having a tough time letting go of their old rivalry with Pittsburgh. After Colts safety Tom Zbikowski spotted a Steelers jersey in the crowd at Monday afternoon's practice, new coach Chuck Pagano took care of the situation. The former Ravens defensive coordinator handed the Pittsburgh fan a new Andrew Luck jersey and jokingly told him to put...

Coach gives Luck jersey to rival fan

Even former Baltimore Ravens are having a tough time letting go of their old rivalry with Pittsburgh. After Colts safety Tom Zbikowski spotted a Steelers jersey in the crowd at Monday afternoon's practice, new coach Chuck Pagano took care of the situation. NFL Battle of Rookies: RG3 vs. Andrew Luck

One of the big questions and comparisons in the NFL is who is better? RGIII or Andrew Luck? Lets start off with Robert Griffin III. Robert Griffin III aka, RGIII, is a very good quarterback and we all saw his incredible season with Baylor last season, which led to him winning the Heisman award. Griffin put up some incredible numbers, had some very exciting and unbelievable games...

Indianapolis Colts OC Bruce Arians calls QB Andrew Luck “scary good”

The Indianapolis Colts have started their rebuilding process, preparing for life without QB Peyton Manning. The Colts however have a great player to build around at the quarterback position in Stanford rookie, Andrew Luck. Luck was one of the most highly touted rookies entering the draft since perhaps his predecessor Manning or Broncos QB John Elway. Luck enters this season with...

Colts new QB ready to put on pads for 1st time

In three plays, Andrew Luck showed Indianapolis Colts' fans how tough life can be for a rookie quarterback. He threw one interception, had another pass broken up and nearly picked off and then ran for a score on a quarterback draw. One defensive coach even urged Jerry Hughes to celebrate the interception. Welcome to the NFL, kid. Luck looked calm during most of the afternoon...

Colts coach gives Luck jersey to Steelers fan

He might be a pretty harsh critic of impromptu music, but say this about Chuck Pagano: he’s establishing a brand with the Colts. During Monday’s training camp practice, the first-year coach was notified by safety Tom Zbikowski that one attending fan (if you could call him that) was wearing a Steelers jersey. The fan in question was Zach Simmons, a 24-year-old who was only there...

AP Pro32 comments about Colts

Comments on the Indianapolis Colts by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses): INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (32) Bob Glauber (Newsday, 27): RGIII will be fun to watch (in Washington). But remember, he's still a rookie, and he'll need time to figure things out - ditto for Luck. Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 29): Colts starting over; one step above an expansion team. Rich Gannon...

Photos: Players to Watch at NFL Training Camps

NFL training camps have started throughout the league and most eyes are fixated on Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and RG3 and how they’re going to do with their new teams. In addition to these big three, there are also a bunch of other players who have the potential to make huge impacts on their new teams. Some are rookies like Luck and RG3 and others are veterans like Manning and...

Not A Very Pittsburghish Surrender

A Steelers fan attended Colts camp in a James Harrison jersey, possibly because he felt like being a dickhead but more likely because Steelers fans are always wearing jerseys, regardless of occasion or setting. As you might expect, this Yinzer interloper drew stares and angry muttering from others in attendance. His presence was so grating that new Colts head coach Chuck Pagano...
