Multiple sources have confirmed that LT Shawn Andrews spent the bulk of last night in the hospital. The Giants confirmed Andrews missed practice but have not confirmed his latest back flare up sent him to the hospital.
The Giants can not afford to lose another OL player for an extended period. Diehl and O’Hara are still out which means that if Andrews misses Sunday against the Jaguars – Will Beatty and Kevin Boothe will make up the left side of the OL for the Giants.
The Jaguars are not going the be pushovers but perhaps it would be best to wait another week before the veterans return to action against the Redskins along with Steve Smith and perhaps Hakeem Nicks.
