Illinois basketball forward C.J. Jackson was scouted by major SEC football powerhouses out of high school, even getting recruited by current Illini football coach Ron Zook when Zook was at Florida. But he eventually chose to play basketball for the storied Illini. Well, now this "basketball school" might be getting a damn good football player as well. Jackson has decided to try out for the football team, with the option of coming back to the basketball team when their season starts. Hell, this isn't another Antonio Gates, this is another Jordan Kent, mister "I'm crazy enough (and talented enough) to play multiple major sports at a D-1 school."
