Anquan Boldin stood his ground, dug in with the Baltimore Ravens regarding his salary and now he’s on a new coast. As we reported yesterday the Baltimore Ravens traded Boldin to the team they faced in the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers, for a 6th round draft pick.
Boldin who is in Africa on a charity mission, told ESPN “he was stunned to learn he was traded to the 49ers, and stated that it was shock because he didn’t think he was going to get traded.”
“You know, for me, it was an initial shock because I had no clue that I was going to be traded,” Boldin told ESPN producer Ashly Robinson, who is in Africa to document his trip with fellow NFL receivers Larry Fitzgerald andRoddy White. They are working with Oxfam to restore farmland in Senegal.
