According to ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer sat out today’s minicamp session with a hyperextended knee.  He suffered the injury during last week’s OTA’s. Spencer said he also has a bone bruise and that he will try to practice Wednesday. “It could have been a lot worse,” said Spencer, who walked around the Cowboys’ complex with no limp. “You can’t play football without having contact.” Spencer said he suffered the injury when he bumped knees with another player.   Need NFL Tickets? Cowboys' Bruce Carter seeing move to 4-3 as no big deal

IRVING, Texas -- When Dallas drafted Bruce Carter in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, many wondered why the Cowboys rolled the dice on a linebacker who was coming off an ACL injury during his final season at North Carolina and a player many felt was a reach in the second round of the draft. After not playing much as a rookie, Carter proved his worth to the Dallas defense...

Last week, Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware told reporters at Valley Ranch that he hasn't been cleared to participate in mini camp this week. But Ware, who had shoulder surgery in January, expects to return to action at training camp next month. Garrett finally admits Callahan will be calling plays for Cowboys

After last week's bewildering non-admission, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett finally acknowledged Tuesday that offensive coordinator Bill Callahan will call plays this season. A week ago, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in his usual roundabout way, told reporters that Callahan had taken over play-calling duties from Garrett. But when quizzed later during his own media session, Garrett...

Romo runs Cowboys' offense no matter who's calling plays

IRVING, Texas Before Jason Garrett could finally confirm that he's indeed relinquished the playcalling duties to Bill Callahan, Cowboys ownergeneral manager Jerry Jones needed to make an announcement of his own. Cowboys believe Josh Brent will be a contributor for them one day

According to ProFootballTalk.com, ESPN’s Ed Werder says the reason the Dallas Cowboys haven’t released Josh Brent is because they believe he’ll one day be a contributor on the field for them. Jerry Jones and ESPN Viewers suck

I'm normally the first person to say as Buffalo fans, we shouldn't throw stones at any other team because, well, we kind of suck at sports. But last week, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off at how badly the Dallas Cowboys looked when it came to figuring out who was going to call the offensive plays. Bill Callahan? Really? The guy who hasn't called offensive...
