DALLAS - That was Wade Phillips' assessment of cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick, who he has dubbed the team's "sophomore sensations."
In the 38-17 win over Seattle, Scandrick broke up two passes and returned a fumble 4 yards to set up a Marion Barber touchdown. Jenkins also broke up a pass.
Matt Hasselbeck didn't challenge Jenkins much, a sure sign that he's doing a good job in coverage.
"Jenkins and Scandrick, our two sophomore guys - sophomore sensations I call them - both played real well," Phillips said. "Orlando should have had some help on the touchdown, and he still almost made the play. I thought he played well. We kind of challenged him last week to pick up his game more and I think he did that. And then Jenkins didn't have much action, and part of it is because he's playing well, he did a good job against their guys."
Phillips said his challenge to Scandrick had nothing to do with his effort.
