The Packers need to keep Cardinals LB Daryl Washington as far from Aaron Rodgers as possible on Sunday
The Arizona Cardinals visit Lambeau Field this week in desperate need of a win, having lost their last four games after starting 4-0. The Green Bay Packers have won three straight and want to head into their much needed bye week at 6-3. Let’s jump into the key matchups that will determine the fate of this week’s game.
Offensive Lines vs. Pass Rush
Both Green Bay and Arizona head into this game in 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in QB sacks. Each is also surrendering more than any team. Many have already dubbed this game a “sack fest”. Of course, games aren’t played on paper as we saw last week in the Packers/Jaguars game.
Each team’s offensive line has come under fire this season for inconsistent play.
Green Bay’s unit has struggled in their run blocking as well as in spots in pass blocking. Newly acquired center Jeff Saturday hasn’t been what many Packer fans had hoped thus...

I see it every Sunday. Or at least the time on Sunday when Melissa Stark is on television. Here’s our Stark photo/bio page by the way. People reach the site by searching for “Melissa Stark rumor(s)”. I encounter something very similar every time the Packers are on tv with the following search strings: “Aaron Rodgers gay” “Aaron Rodgers gay rumors” “Is Aaron Rodgers...
Rodgers finally letting his words flow
GREEN BAY, Wis.-In one of this seasons most memorable postgame interviews, Shhhhh is what Aaron Rodgers recently hissed when asked if a 42-24 rout of previously unbeaten Houston had quieted Green Bays critics.
Quite the understatement from a player who has become one of the NFLs biggest chatterboxes.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Month For October
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the NFC offensive player of the month for October.
Rodgers completed 96-of-141 passes for 1,101 yards, 14 touchdowns and just one interception to guide the Packers to a 3-1 record for the month. He registered multi-touchdown performances in all four games, including a six-TD showing in Week 6. Rodgers also became the first quarterback...
Blitz Chicken: Rodgers vs. Cardinals Defense
There might not be a better quarterback against the blitz in the NFL than the Packers' Aaron Rodgers, who was historically great last season and excellent this year, as well. Surprisingly, Rodgers has seen a lot of blitzes this year — and probably will on Sunday against Arizona.

RG3: Compare me to Aaron Rodgers
Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III would prefer it if he were compared to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers instead of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
Green Bay Packers bye-week blessing
Times are good in Green Bay again. QB Aaron Rodgers was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month, CB Casey Heyward was named NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month and CB Davon House was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Not to mention, the Green Bay Packers are riding a three game winning streak and are climbing up the playoff standings in the NFC.

Green Bay Packers Cruise Over Arizona Cardinals: Hero-Zero Of The Game
This win for the Packers is more proof that their slow start to the season is nothing to worry about and they are back in the running for the Super Bowl. On the other side, this loss for the Cardinals also proved something about their fast start to the season, it was a fluke. After starting the season 4-0, the Cardinals have since lost five straight games and are no longer in...
Aaron Rodgers Throws 4 Touchdowns in 31-17 Victory Over Arizona
Two teams heading in different directions met Sunday and continued to head in those same directions. Green Bay won their fourth straight game Sunday 31-17 over Arizona, handing the Cardinals their fifth straight loss. The Green Bay Packers rushed for 176 yards, their best total since October of 2009. None of those rushing yards went for a touchdown, and Aaron Rodgers had 33 of the...
Packers Making the Most of Opponents’ Penalties
Packer coach Mike McCarthy conversing with a pair of refs.
The Packers have had plenty of calls go against them this season, but they’ve also taken advantage of some penalties that have gone in their favor.

Game Balls and Lame Calls: Packers 31, Cardinals 17
Packers WR Randall Cobb had another big game on Sunday against the Cardinals.
As Packers players kept limping off the field Sunday, Aaron Rodgers kept his team moving forward. Well, for the most part, anyway.
There were some frustrating moments, and more failed opportunities to bury a team before the fourth quarter, but given all the injuries, Sunday’s win over the Cardinals was...

Washington rising into elite status
As a student of the game, it isn't surprising to learn that Arizona inside linebacker Daryl Washington likes to watch offseason video of the NFL's all-time greats.
Jack Lambert, Ray Lewis and Mike Singletary are among the names on Washington's viewing list.
But so is someone who never played the position: The late Sean Taylor.
Mind you, Taylor had traits that some...
