Harry Douglas may be the most unknown receiver in the NFL. As the third and sometimes fourth option (include Tony Gonzalez) in the Falcons' offense, he could get lost in all the firepower Matt Ryan has to work with.It really isn’t hard to see that the fifth-year pro from Louisville could be ignored. He is the shy, quiet type while Roddy White and Julio Jones are the more flamboyant, types who get the media coverage. All Douglas does is catch football passes. And in other team’s systems, he could be a solid second option who gets more media coverage.Maybe the silence and the fact Douglas quietly 38 passes in this Falcons' game plan last year. And this season, Douglas has his sights set on a career year.“This year is the first year that I’m stronger, faster, more in shape — but at the same time, I’m still 185 (pounds), 186, throughout the whole camp,” Douglas said, according to AtlantaFalcons.com. “That’s never happened since I’ve been in the league.”The fact White and Jones are targeted more and double-teamed more means Douglas will have more opportunities to shine in the Falcons' offense. If Douglas is an unknown commodity in Atlanta, could it be Kroy Biermann be the opposite? The former defensive end who was signed last season to a new contract with the franchise is known more for his wife and her place in the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” than he is for his play on the field for the Falcons.Does that mean Biermann still has a future with this franchise? If he can make the transition to linebacker from defensive end, it may help his chances of making a last impression in Atlanta. It was thought that the loss of John Abraham in free agency would pay off for Biermann. a 5th round pick in 2008 out of Montana. But the Falcons had other ideas when it signed Osi Umenyiora from the New York Giants. At 6’3” and 255 pounds, Biermann really is a tweener with no real position. Last season, he only had 52 tackles and four sacks last year and must produce more if he is to be a more important part of the rotation for the Falcons' defense. If not, he will be a bust and considered an overrated player without a lot of talent.
