First reported on twitter by both ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network is the latest FREE AGENT visit into the VMAC facility (home of the Seahawks. Free-agent defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin is visiting the team today. Franklin made 17 tackles in 16 games for the Saints last season. He had spent the previous four seasons with the 49ers, who named him their franchise player in 2010. From 2007-2010, Franklin averaged more than 36 tackles and made 60 starts. At 31, Franklin hasn't missed a game since 2007. Quote: Bill Williamson - Espn's AFC west blogger recently wrote that Franklin is a solid 3-4 nose tackle who can be a solid rotational player. He was reporting on the Chiefs interest in Franklin at the time. Maybe this is a leverage visit for him? One only knows. Not sure with the addition of Jason Jones if a Franklin signing makes sense for Seattle?!
