Austin, Fiammetta likely back for Cowboys

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones indicated Tuesday that Pro Bowl receiver Miles Austin should return to the lineup in time for Sunday's critical NFC East matchup against the Giants. And in what could be even bigger news: fullback Tony Fiammetta is probably back, too. Austin has missed the last four games carefully rehabbing a hamstring injury, his second this season. He was close to returning for last week's game at Arizona, but he and the Cowboys are being extra cautious to avoid re-injury. "I think Miles will practice full-go this week," Jones said Tuesday on his weekly radio show on KRLD-FM. Cowboys players had Tuesday off, so it won't be known for sure until Wednesday whether Austin is back practicing full-speed. The Cowboys' passing game has thrived in Austin's absence with Laurent Robinson stepping into a larger role. In the last four games without Austin, Robinson caught 18 passes for 258 yards and five touchdowns. The running game, however, has dipped without Fiammetta to serve as a lead blocker for starting running back DeMarco Murray. Murray averaged 66 rushing yards in the three games Fiammetta has missed, including just 38 yards last week at Arizona. He was averaging 116 yards in the three games prior to Fiammetta developing an inner ear problem that caused him to become dizzy and nauseous when he practiced. "We're hopeful that Fiammetta's inner ear will let him have the week that he had last week, which is good," Jones said. "If systems are all on go, then we could see him in the ballgame."
