Former Eagles defensive end Jason Babin says there was a lot of tension between head coach Andy Reid and defensive line coach Jim Washburn before Washburn ended up getting fired last week. Babin says he wasn’t surprised Washburn got let go and believes he wouldn’t have been back next season anyway. “I don’t like to see anybody get fired … but you knew they wanted to do that,” Babin said, per the Florida Times-Union. “I could tell there were some feelings between Coach [Andy] Reid and ‘Wash’ that were on the surface and you could feel the tension a little bit.
