Looks like running back Marshawn Lynch's foot injury might possibly keep him out of Sunday's playoff matchup with the Atlanta Falcons in we're to read anything by him missing 2 practices in a row.
Lynch has not missed consecutive practices since week 10 (back, wrist) when they beat the New York Jets 28-7, but he did play and was successful, running for 124 yards.
The difference here is that this time around, it's a foot injury.
Suffice to say, Marshawn out would be a big blow to the Seahawks running game and overall offense. Put adie all the media hoopla over rookie QB Russell Wilson. Make no mistake, Lynch is the straw that stirs the drink in Seattle.
Rookie Robert Turbin would get the start in that event, and that will be a huge dropoff to say the least.
Turbin has 354 yards on 80 carriers this season in his limited time on the field.
