The regular season is finally. On Thursday night (September 5) the Baltimore Ravens visit the Denver Broncos.
NBC will carry the game from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO beginning at 8:30 pm.
While analysts will bill this as a “Super Bowl winning Ravens team” the truth is the Ravens roster has turned over quite a bit.
Among the changes on the offense for Baltimore was the trading on Anquan Boldin and an injury to tight end Dennis Pitta. On the defensive side of the ball the Ravens lost Ray Lewis to retirement and Ed Reed opted to go to Houston.
Denver on the other hand also had a change at receiver adding Wes Welker to the mix which will only give Peyton Manning yet another offensive weapon.
A lot more could go into analyzing this game but we simply offer up the betting odds at this time.
The Denver Broncos are an 8 point favorite against Baltimore. The Over/Under for this game is 48 points.

Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey had been walking with the use of crutches and in a walking boot for 2 weeks after suffering a sprained foot during the Broncos' second preseason game, Aug. 17 at Seattle.
The Ravens and Broncos kick-off the NFL season Thursday night in Denver. The Ravens won the Super Bowl last year and needed a huge missed play by the Broncos defense in order to get there.

With the season opener just days away, the Baltimore Ravens Facebook page posted the above inspirational quote from Joe Flacco. Did I say inspirational? I meant kind of boring and long-winded. But it’s presented as though it’s supposed to be inspiring. Are the Ravens good? Who knows, but they do feel like they’re good, but in a measured way that doesn’t get carried away with...
Denver Bronocs quarterback Peyton Manning doesn't want to talk about the painful playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens on their home turf last season. He's only focusing on the big rematch to kickoff 2013.
It’s Wednesday and you would swear it is Christmas around here. It’s 95 degrees and we are all sweating bullets, so no, it’s not the holiday season. But it could be because football is back, alive and well across the nation tomorrow night. My prayers have been answered. After following teams in rookie camps, practices, OTA, training camps and preseason, the “real” NFL is...
The Denver Broncos have officially ruled Champ Bailey out against the Baltimore Ravens. Bailey has been dealing with a sprained foot, this is the type of injury that can be nagging and hard to recover from. This move seems to be the logical choice for the Broncos, they would much rather have Bailey miss the beginning of the season than the end.

Week 1′s Thursday night football game pits the Baltimore Ravens against the Denver Broncos in which Las Vegas believes will be fairly lopsided. The game is 7.5 points to the Broncos favor at the time of the release of this article. Don’t fret though as anything can happen and it is definitely not unforseen to see a dog take it to favorite at any point in the season. None-the...
While we've discussed at length what the loss of Elvis Dumervil (stupid fax machines!) and Von Miller (a six-game suspension) means for the Denver defense the fact that cornerback Champ Bailey hasn't been practicing has been a quiet storyline as the Broncos enter their season-opener vs. the Ravens.
