Bills ILB Nick Barnett has plans to take in the Packers Divisional playoff game the weekend of Jan. 14th, and he’ll be bringing a teammate with him. Barnett shared as much on his twitter account after being asked by a Packers fan if he’d be back in town anytime soon.  NickBarnett “@PackerFans56: @NickBarnett Are you going to make it back to Green Bay anytime soon?”–be there for the game..   Barnett spent the first eight years of his career with the Packers. Then Barnett revealed that he’d have a young teammate going with him.   NickBarnett Bringing @KelvinSheppard to the game as well… Should be a interesting time in Greenbay   Got to wonder if Barnett wants to expose his young teammate to the NFL playoff atmosphere and give him a taste of it all hoping to motivate him all the more to help Buffalo get there.

Fred latest to back Stevie return

Appearing on the Bills new flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550 Thursday morning, Fred Jackson was the latest Bills player to appeal for the return of Stevie Johnson in 2012. “I think everybody on our offense wants Stevie back,” Johnson told the WGR Morning Show. “He was a great playmaker for us. He was one of the weapons that we counted on week in and week out...

Buffalo Bills - Best in the NFL at Something

A Buffalo native myself, it's rare to see the word "Best" associated with my hometown, especially in the realm of sports. Sure, there isn't a better place in the world to get some wings (they're only called Buffalo wings if you live outside Western New York and most people negate that title the moment they use Ranch instead of Bleu Cheese), the skiing there...

The 2012 NFL Draft: What The Mocks Are Saying (First Edition)

With the 2011 Buffalo Bills season in the books and once again no playoff games for the local team, it is that time of year again to start looking at mock drafts and try to predict who the Bills will take with the 10th overall pick in April’s draft. The Bills have quite a few wholes to fill in the off-season. Assuming they re-sign him, Buffalo needs to bring in a true starting...

Ryan Fitzpatrick seemed to run out of gas early last year for the Buffalo Bills

29-year old QB Ryan Fitzpatrick came out like a ball of fire in 2011, but after the Bills gave him a contract extension…he stunk it up.  The Bills finished with a 6-10 (37.5%) record last year and Fitzpatrick was a big reason for that.  He played in 16 games (all starts) for the Bills last year and he completed 353 of 569 passes (62%) for 3,832 yards with 24 TD passes and...

Learning to laugh in spite of a loss

In the past few years, I’ve been to a large number of sporting events. While this has included many Sabres games, I have also gone to see the Buffalo Bandits, the Rochester Americans, and the Buffalo Bills all play. The Bandits and Amerks have not disappointed me once but the Sabres and Bills often do. Disappointing in the fact that the Sabres and Bills both find ways to blow a...
