Video: Tyler Thigpen Gets Hit In The Head By Football While warming Up
When Buffalo Bills starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went down briefly with an injury in Sunday’s game vs. the Redskins, his back up Tyler Thigpen was preparing for the possibility of entering the game to fill in. Then this happened: Coincidentally Fitzpatrick remained in the game and Thigpen on the bench. Was Thigpen too distracted by almost [...]
Bills RB Jackson fighting for respect, even from wife
ORCHARD PARK -- Overlooked and discounted for much of his career, Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson can’t even get a break in his own home.
“My wife took me in the fifth round,” Jackson said, shaking his head in mock frustration while discussing where his wife, Danielle, selected...
Fred top 3 in MVP rank
The stat and film review junkies at Pro Football Focus have put together their midseason list for NFL MVP candidates and Fred Jackson has cracked the top 3.
Here’s the take of the folks at PFF on Fred.

Why Chan was “scared to death”
NFL teams were 3-9 coming off the bye week as the Bills prepared to resume their season Sunday. Following Sunday’s win head coach Chan Gailey was very candid in sharing how he felt heading into the game against Washington.
“Scared to death,” he said. ”It’s not something that’s normal. You’re not in your routine. You don’t know if your guys are back into...
Bills Game Review Week 7: Redskins 0, Bills 23
Well, that was a pleasant game to watch, wasn't it? It's rare for us Bills fans as of late to just kick back and enjoy a stress-free thrashing of the opponent. It happened in week one vs the Chiefs and yet again this Sunday. This game was never in doubt and even if the Bills weren't perfect at all aspects of execution, it was more than enough vs a sad Redskins team. Great...
Rex references '64 Bills
Jets coach Rex Ryan went way back today in complimenting the Bills' defensive front, particularly rookie defensive lineman Marcell Dareus.
Said Ryan: "Dareus reminds me ... the way he's playing and the way Big Wiggle as I used to call him is playing - Dwan Edwards - they remind me of Ron McDole and Tom Sestak, the No. 70 that used to play in the AFL days."

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills: An Intriguing Match.
Many fans, analysts, and columnists saw the Buffalo Bills as a mediocre team at best searching hard for the next decade to reach .500. Here we are past the halfway point of the season and the resurgent Bills will likely be neck and neck with the New England Patriots for the division title. This is a considerable comparison to the 2008 Miami Dolphins.
Can the Bills sustain years of...
By the Numbers: Bills
Here are the pertinent and painful numbers from the Redskins 23-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Ontario.
262 - Yards passing from Ryan Fitzpatrick, on an extremely efficient 20 of 27 day. He had two touchdowns, and in parts of the game, picked apart the Redskins secondary seemingly at will.
208 - Yard passing for John Beck. When you remove the yards...
