Bear Down On Tebow

It's been almost two weeks since Da Bears season came to a disappointing and unfulfilling end, I'm sure all Bears fans can agree with that one! Where was the heart and fight that they showed the previous week? With that question still in mind tonight, watching the BCS Championship (a system that I don't really have a problem with, by the way) It just came to me... Tim Tebow! I've watched the Gators a few times this year but, as a guy that mostly follows Univ. Michigan (even though Rich-Rod managed to single handedly killed the program) I really didn't give notice to how he just refuses to lose. I'm not sure if he can or can't play quarterback in the pros but that's what mini camp and training camp is for... he deserves a shot. Even if he's not a pro QB, he's a pro something! Tebow is a guy that you'd want to go to battle with him on your side and he's always shown that fire. I don't believe that you necessarily need a team of choir boys to win but, its a definite plus! Tim, from all accounts is an amazing person, strong in his Faith, the missionary work... he seems like someone thats just as special off the field. If he decides to leave early, I'd be happy to see him taken by Chicago this april. With the need on the defensive line, wide receiver and safety, I'm not sure if you'd use a first round pick but, he's certainly a second or third rounder. Maybe he's the next Ben Rothlisberger or the next Chris Cooley, all that really matters is that he can make plays. My credibility might take a hit because I'm still more of a Rex Grossman guy... he's big risk, big reward but, isn't the same with America's hero, Brett Farve? This post isn't really about Rex or Brett... it's about Tim Tebow because he's a standout anyway you view him.
