The Slanch Report:
Bill Belichick is known as a master motivator but he's not on the field and sometimes his players need an extra kick in the ass. During Belichick's stint in Cleveland he picked up for his practice squad defensive end Chad Eaton and if Bill thought his team was dragging ass a little he'd get Eaton to make something happen. "If practice was going slow, he'd look at me and just say, 'It's time,'" Eaton said. "He wanted me to get on somebody's (case) and start a little fight. I was known for that and it paid off on Fridays. There'd always be some extra money in my locker. Practice players don’t make much, so I really appreciated it."Love it. Eaton later went on to a solid 10-year career in the NFL, even playing for the Patriots from 1996 to 2000. [Dayton Daily News]
