Coach Marvin Lewis realizes he needs to keep his Cincinnati Bengals focused as they prepare to face the Cleveland Browns, who probably shouldn't be taken lightly after last week. The visiting Bengals hope to avoid a letdown by beating the Browns for the eighth time in 10 meetings when the AFC North rivals meet in Cleveland on Sunday. Cincinnati (2-1) became the first team in NFL history to lead by 14 points, then trail by 16, before rallying to win 34-30 over Green Bay on Sunday. It was also the first time in 14 years that a team won after allowing its opponent to score 30 consecutive points. The Bengals know they now have to turn the page from the wild victory as they hit the road looking for a 2-0 start in the division. "That's what the NFL is - a lead-in to the next game," Lewis told the team's official website. "This is all for nothing if we don't take care of business the next week and the next." The Browns (1-2) appeared to be looking t...

What is the price of Greg Little? He is officially on the trade block

Today on ESPN insider, Adam Schefter is reporting the Cleveland Browns have “fielded calls” on Greg Little. As previously reported, Little “can be had for the right price.” I would love to know what that price is? What do you think fans? He has not been the best receiver in the NFL, he has dropped quite […]

Why the Cincinnati Bengals are going to win AFC North

After a memorable come-from-behind victory against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium, the Cincinnati Bengals can check resilience off the list of traits for the 2013 season – but is that enough? In a game with more fodder than a peewee kids football game on Saturday’s, the Bengals did the impossible and gave up a 14 point lead, went down by 16, then won the...

WR Josh Gordon wants to become an elite receiver with Browns, not trade bait: 'I want to reach that goal of being one of the household names'

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon didn't get off to a good start by getting suspended the first two games of the season for violating the NFL's drug policy. He drew the ire of Cleveland fans by hanging out too much with public enemy No. 1 in LeBron James in the offseason. It was publicly said that Gordon was on a short leash' and had one last opportunity with the team...

The Cleveland Browns may trade Josh Gordon – Here’s why they shouldn’t

Last Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns traded running back Trent Richardson, arguably their most talented offensive weapon, to the Indianapolis Colts for a first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Now, seven days and one win over the Minnesota Vikings later, fans in Cleveland and around the league are still talking about Browns offensive playmakers on the trading block. This time wide...

Josh Gordon led the league in targets this week and that trend could continue (Week 3 touches and targets)

The final numbers tell one part of the story, but fantasy football is a game of volume. When predicting performance touches and targets on a weekly basis play as big a role as the name on the back of the jersey. With that in mind let’s take a look back at workloads from this past weekend and start thinking forward to who may find themselves in a more favorable situation in Week...

Cleveland Browns Can Turn Attention to Improving the Running Game

Now that the Cleveland Browns have enjoyed the warm glow of their first victory, it’s time for them to improve their running game. Brian Hoyer wasn’t perfect at quarterback, but since he threw three touchdowns in the 31-27 victory at Minnesota, the Browns can examine the fact that their running backs didn’t combine for 50 yards. Nobody can blame Willis McGahee for gaining nine...

Cleveland Browns game streaker banned from stadium

An Ohio man accused of streaking across the field during a Cleveland Browns game will no longer be able to set foot at the team's stadium because its administration has banned him from the property. Twenty-year-old Anthony Saveriano was notified Wednesday of the team's decision during his sentencing hearing in Cleveland Municipal Court. Judge Lauren Moore found Saveriano...

NFL News: Brian Hoyer will start for Browns Sunday against Cincinnati

Coach Rob Chudzinski said Wednesday at his weekly press conference that Brian Hoyer will get the start for the Browns at quarterback against the Cincinnati Bengals. Brandon Weeden has not started throwing yet with his injured thumb, but Chudzinski said he is making progress. The team expects Weeden will begin throwing this week. Brian Hoyer started last Sunday’s game against the...

McGahee Says He Will Improve in Second Game with Browns

Browns running back Willis McGahee says "there will be dramatic improvement" in his second game with the team. "I'm going to have more than eight yards," McGahee said. SOURCE: Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland Plain Dealer.Fantasy Spin:McGahee played just 14 snaps against the Vikings after being signed late last week following Trent Richardson's trade to the Colts...

Here’s a pretty epic high school lip dub set to Katy Perry’s “Roar”

After the Cincinnati Bengals decided to reconsider their choice to use Katy Perry’s “Roar” as their team anthem this year, another group of Tigers decided to step up and use hit single for an awesome lip dub video. That’s Colorado’s Lakewood High School and its 2000+ students executing a pretty fantastic lip dub to the song using just one take. I’ve seen a lot of these...

Jim Brown: Trent Richardson trade was a ‘brilliant move’ for Browns

For whatever reason, Cleveland Browns legend Jim Brown was never a fan of Trent Richardson. Brown disagreed with the team’s decision to use the No. 3 overall pick on Richardson in last year’s draft, saying that he felt the former Alabama star is “ordinary” and was simply the best back in a class that was […]

Chud Deserves Some Credit

For the Browns to pull off a victory last week, they needed those strong performances from guys like Jordan Cameron, Josh Gordon, Brian Hoyer and a host of players on defense.
