Bengals Going After Gallery?

Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports tweeted today that Cincy is among other teams bidding for offensive guard Robert Gallery who has been with the Oakland Raiders for the past 7 seasons. Reports are that Gallery is seeking a new deal around $8 million per season which is much more than the Bengals typically spend on interior o-lineman. The new CBA could force the Bengals into being more aggressive in free agency as this report would indicate.

Gallery was the 2nd overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft coming out of Iowa and has started 91 games for the Raiders. The 6’7″ 325 lb lineman just turned 31.
