Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett is dealing with a rib injury which could threaten his availability for this Sunday night’s matchup with the New York Giants. Bennett suffered the injury in the first half of the team’s 19-13 overtime loss to the Cardinals, and was forced to miss the second half. He reportedly underwent an X-ray examination at University of Phoenix Stadium, and an additional battery of tests Monday at Valley Ranch. According to Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News, Bennett left the facility Monday with a smile, but told reporters earlier in the day that he was having a hard time breathing. Asked if he would play Sunday night against the Giants, Bennett said, “I don’t have any idea.” We’ll bring you more as we have it. Stay on top of the latest Dallas Cowboys news with NBCDFW.com. Dallas Cowboys’ Defense Crumbles in Crunch Time in Loss to Arizona Cardinals

When the Dallas Cowboys hired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan in January, a lot was expected of the high-profile, loud-mouthed son of a great NFL coach. On the Bright Side, Jesse Holley Keeps Catching Passes

In our ongoing effort to find the occasional bright spot to take from an otherwise ugly loss to the Arizona Cardinals, we present you the case of Jesse Holley. Holley’s story--his winning Michael Irvin’s reality show for an invite to camp, making the practice squad, then being promoted to the active roster, etc--is well documented, so we won’t rehash it any more...

Blame Romo for Timeoutgate?

We've all been dumping on Jason Garrett this week (rightfully so) for icing his own kicker and failing to use crucial timeouts at the end of the Cowboys stunning loss to Arizona on Sunday. But Garrett wasn't alone in committing such a heinous act of clock butchery. Mike Florio over at PFT suggests that Tony Romo deserves a lot of the blame for what went down in those final...
