Shaun Suisham hit a 34-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 16-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles (3-2) took the lead on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Brent Celek with 6:33 remaining, but the Steelers responded by driving 64 yards, including a pair of key third-down conversions by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, to set up the winning kick. Pittsburgh running back Rashard Mendenhall ran for 81 yards and a touchdown in his first game of the season as the Steelers (2-2) avoided their first two-game losing streak in three years. Vick completed 20 of 30 passes for 175 yards and two scores but fumbled twice for the Eagles, who couldn't keep their string of narrow early-season victories going.

Michael Vick’s Turnovers Continue to Hurt Eagles

Another Eagles game is in the books, and so is another close outcome. However, the Eagles ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard this game. For the first time this season, the Eagles came into the game as an underdog. Despite being the dogs, I still felt this was a very winnable game for the Birds. It’s hard to win a football game when you don’t protect the football though...

Philadelphia Eagles fumble away game

It was another close game for the Philadelphia Eagles, who lost their second game in three weeks, 16-14 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This loss stings for a few reasons; it was a big rivalry game against the in-state rival and it was a game the Eagles really should have won. This loss puts the Eagles at 3-2, which is still good enough for first place in  the division.Offense:Michael...

Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Vick Headed For The Hot Seat

Although the Philadelphia Eagles have a winning record (3-2), many have begun questioning whether they would be better off without Michael Vick as their starting quarterback.Vick has long been the kind of high risk/high reward player who is just as likely to break off a 60-yard TD run as he is to turn the ball over at the worst possible moment. In just five games this season, Michael...

James Harrison 'Let Up' on Mike Vick to Avoid Fines During Steelers Win

James Harrison's return to the football field helped propel the Steelers defense to a 16-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. But at the same time that Harrison was concerned with pulling out the win in Pittsburgh, it seems he was also worrying about his wallet. Harrison, who didn't record a sack in his first action of the season, was able to get in on Mike Vick...

Tough loss because of squandered opportunities to put it away early...Steelers 16, Eagles 14...

I know most pundits will be talking about the key fumbles committed by Michael Vick that took big points off the board...and yeah, maybe the Eagles should have proven they are better and tougher than the Steelers except for their failure to hold on to the ball in scoring situations. But my main criticism will be focused on the disconnect between the linebackers of the Eagles...

Philadelphia: The question here is, which Eagles team will show up?Will it be the team that showed a lot of toughness in gritting out a close game against arch rival New York Giants last week, or the team that went out on the road in Week 3 and rolled over for a decent but not great Cardinals team? If the latter shows up, the Steelers will likely eat the Eagles for lunch.Key to...
