Indianapolis Colts Take Andrew Luck No. 1
As much as they tried to build a little suspense, this was the clear choice for the Colts.
Andrew Luck is the perfect picture of a prototypical quarterback. He has all of the physical attributes you are looking for and demonstrates sound decision making. He also has been working in a pro-style offense for a number of years and has shown...
The day has come when the Indianapolis Colts finally get to cash in for winning the Suck for Luck sweepstakes. Sure, it took the most painful season in recent Colts’ history to get here. Sure you had to get rid of the most important player in the history of your franchise. Sure have to put up with @JimIrsay’s incessant tweeting. But you still get the best QB draft prospect in...
Obviously there’s no surprise here. Andrew Luck has been in the No. 1 slot on every single one of my 2012 mock drafts (and most of the 2011 mocks, before he returned to school). The Indianapolis Colts now have the face of their franchise for the next 10+ years. Even if Luck doesn’t fully live up to the lofty standards set by Peyton Manning, Luck will still lead the Colts to multiple...
Andrew Luck will become the next $22 million man in the NFL. According to the Indianapolis Star, Luck and the Colts will soon settle and sign off on the contact terms, which will reportedly be $22 million over four years. It's being said that although the money is a large amount of money, Luck's "possible" contract with the Colts will be low compared to other NFL...
According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians confirmed that quarterback Andrew Luck will run with the first team from day one.
“Ain’t no doubt,” said Arians.
This makes a lot of sense, since I can’t think of a quarterback on the Colts roster that could even compete with Luck in training camp.

The Indianapolis Colts have selected small, speedy receiver T.Y. Hilton in the third round of the NFL draft.
Hilton caught 72 passes for 1,038 yards and seven touchdowns last season at Florida International. He's listed at 5-foot-9, 183 pounds and also can return punts and kicks.
Indy traded its fourth-round pick and a fifth-rounder in 2013 to Baltimore to get the choice.
To almost no surprise, the Indianapolis Colts select quarterback Andrew Luck with the first overall pick.
Jeremy had Luck as his #1 from the beginning, as did just about everyone else who did mock drafts.
He’s got big shoes to fill, but if the Colts can add an offensive line, he should do ok. If not, he could lose his head.
INDIANAPOLIS -- They got their guy. The Indianapolis Colts went into the 2012 draft with the idea that they needed to find a suitable replacement for former quarterback Peyton Manning, who was released on March 6. All along, it was thought that former Stanford signal-caller Andrew Luck would be that person. And while the Colts did their due diligence and also looked hard...

Season Recap: What a different team this was with Peyton Manning under center. After starting 13 consecutive seasons, Manning was forced to miss 2011 with a neck injury. Kerry Collins, Dan Orlovsky, and Curtis Painter all attempted to replicate Manning’s...
Justin Kissel’s 2012 NFL Mock Draft. 2012 NFL Mock Draft Updated on 04/26/2012 1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB-Stanford This one has been a no brainer for a while. They can’t give up Peyton Manning and not take what everyone is calling the greatest QB to come out since. I don’t see it in fact [...]Thanks for reading. Justin’s 2012 NFL Mock Draft is a post...
Dave welcomes the newest addition to the Indianapolis Colts, #1 NFL draft pick Andrew Luck — Luck doesn’t quite have Peyton Manning’s personality, but maybe he could win over the Colts fans with a solid rookie campaign. -TO
