After last night’s Super Bowl loss to the Ravens, former NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski ripped 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss for not playing playing hard enough. “Randy Moss alligator armed it, he didn’t go up for the ball!” Romanowski said while gradually raising his voice, via CSNBayArea.com, per Larry Brown Sports. “He said he was the best receiver in the DAMN world — ok, you hear me? OH GOD! That’s what pisses me off! You’re playing in the SUPER BOWL, guys!” This is just another example of why Moss is not the greatest wide receiver ever.  He takes plays off and never gives 100 percent effort all the time.  He’ll now once again go home without a Super Bowl ring.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (functio

Rooting for Randy Moss in the Super Bowl

Randy Moss has reached the Super Bowl again, but this time he has grown farther than he did in his New England days From a pure rivalry standpoint, fans of the New England Patriots should be rooting for a victory for the San Fransisco 49ers against the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Currently in the American Football Conference, the Baltimore Ravens would be considered...

Randy Moss: From Freak to ‘T. Rex’

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss used to be known as the “freak” in his younger years, because of his freakish athleticism and speed. But his new nickname should be “T.Rex”, because of his ancient age, and lack of ability to go get the ball at its highest point. After examining Moss’ play on the 49ers this season, and Super Bowl XLVII, showed that he doesn...

Randy Moss’ career is likely over

After an average season for wide receiver Randy Moss, I believe it’s almost certain he’ll retire.  He’s clearly not the same player and wasn’t happy about his role with the 49ers in 2012. Even though head coach Jim Harbaugh has indicated he wants Moss back, it doesn’t mean Randy will want to play for him next year.  I also can’t imagine any other teams wanting to bring...

Bill Romanowski blasts Randy Moss's Super Bowl performance

Sunday night may have been the last chance Randy Moss will have to capture a Super Bowl ring, and his team came up short once again. The San Francisco 49ers turned Super Bowl 47 into a close game, but the Baltimore Ravens were in charge for most of the night. One of the most devastating plays for the Niners came in the second quarter, when Colin Kaepernick threw an interception with...

Joe Montana Says Randy Moss Can’t Do All The Things Jerry Rice could do

Randy Moss caused a stir when he took over Super Bowl media with the comments that he’s the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game.  Jerry Rice, who many consider to be the GOAT, took exception to those comments and calmly disagreed.  Now the guy who threw so many touchdown passes to Rice has an opinion of his own. Joe Montana appeared on Pro Football Talk, and in his...

Joe Montana: Randy Moss is no Jerry Rice

During an appearance on Pro Football Talk, 49ers’ Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana came on and made it clear that even though Randy Moss  believes he’s the greatest wide receiver of all time, he can’t do the things Jerry Rice did during his career. “I just think that he can’t do all the things that Jerry could do,” Montana said. “Randy will get behind you and he’s...

Joe Montana: Randy Moss can’t do all the things Jerry Rice could do

Randy Moss made waves during the week leading up to the Super Bowl when he confidently proclaimed himself to be the greatest receiver to ever play in the NFL. Jerry Rice was not shy in expressing how strongly he disagrees with Moss, and he pointed to statistics and championship rings to argue that he, not Moss, is the best ever. Naturally, Rice’s former quarterback also believes...

Randy Moss ‘Alligator Armed’ Colin Kaepernick Interception, According to Bill Romanowski

Randy Moss took a lot of heat for his performance in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday. The legendary wide receiver caught just two passes for 41 yards on five targets. That unimpressive stat line may have been due to lack of effort, according to four-time Super Bowl champion Bill Romanowski. “Randy Moss, he alligator armed it. He didn’t go up for the ball,” Romanowski said emphatically...

Notorious juicehead Bill Romanowski is right to bash San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss

CSN Bay Area’s Bill Romanowski accused 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss of having “alligator arms” during San Francisco’s 34-31 upset loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 6-foot-4, 210 pound Moss, who the Minnesota Vikings chose out of Marshall University with the 21st selection in the 1998...

Draft Zone Spotlight: Tyrone Goard, WR, Eastern Kentucky University

Draft Zone Spotlight: Tyrone Goard, WR, Eastern Kentucky University Tyrone Goard had to choose the OVC to succeed which was probably one of the best moves for the talented wide receiver.  Tyrone performed well enough this year earning honors in the OVC and a chance to play in the East/West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Goard went on to have a few good days of practice...

Time To Give Up Five Yards

Just Say No A day after the Super Bowl, it's clear that the world isn't ready to let go of the game, and that's to be expected, really. Football is America's religion now, and the fact that it vacates the premises for seven months while the feeder system is coast to coast and numbering in the thousands is a market inequity that will change in our lifetime... but...
