The Bills just signed two more players to the practice squad, let’s take a look.
TJ Heath is a 2nd year corner out of Jacksonville State who played in 5 games for the Jaguars last year, recording 2 special teams tackles. He was signed by Cincinnati at the beginning of August, before being cut last week. Kind of like the Jags version of Namaan Roosevelt, only not nearly as productive. At 6 foot tall, 188 pounds, Heath should provide a big corner and some special teams help should the Bills need to dip that far into their reserves. Heath said “I want to come in here and compete off the top and try to win a position anywhere. It doesn’t matter where it is, I just want to be on the field and contribute to this team as much as I possibly can.” That was in response to the Bengals signing him, but I would imagine he’d have the same attitude after joining Buffalo.
LaMark Brown is a TE and former Minnesota State Maverick who spent his preseason with the Falcons. In the third preseason game against Cincinnati, he caught 4 balls for 47 yards and a TD, which was probably key in grabbing the Bills attention. According to this video he played WR in college, and even spent some time at RB. Interesting player to keep track of.
