Source: Bills close to signing Anderson

The Buffalo Bills are set to make their second major defensive line signing of the offseason. A source told FOXSports.com that New England defensive end Mark Anderson is close to signing a free-agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills made a huge splash earlier this month by signing Houston defensive end Mario Williams to a six-year, $100 million contract. The expected...

Mark Anderson visiting the Bills

According to the Buffalo Bills, free agent defensive end Mark Anderson will be meeting with their staff on Tuesday night and will make an official visit on Wednesday morning. You would think that after signing the biggest defensive free agent on the market, the Bills would be done.  They’re clearly still looking to upgrade their pass rush, which is a good sign, since they’re...

Super Mario Williams targets Tom Brady with Twitter fireball

It didn't take long for Mario Williams to have some fun with his new team and his new division rivals. After signing the most lucrative NFL contract a defensive player has ever received, Williams took some time and put real thought and creativity into his new Twitter avatar. The result is a Super Mario Brothers themed image featuring Williams and a fellow-Mario, new San Francisco...

Steve Johnson records a track for Game’s upcoming album

Steve Johnson signed a big contract this off-season so the next logical step for him is to record a mixtape with a rapper. Watch as Stevie hits the studio with the Game as they “lay down” a track that will appear on the Game’s upcoming album. You have to give the Buffalo Bills receiver props for holding his own with the rap legend (I use that term extremely loosely). I can’t...

Buffalo Free Agency Doesn't End With Williams

Just when you thought the Bills were through with free agency, they pull you back in. DE Mark Anderson flew into Buffalo Tuesday night, meeting defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt and going out for a little dinner (they were spotted walking into Tempo downtown), then staying the night to do further interviews Wednesday. While most thought the Bills had begun and ended their free...

Want to know how to transform your weaknesses into strengths? You need to methodically build through the draft and make heads-up decisions on the open market. Or, you could just start paying close attention to the Buffalo Bills. Would QB Tim Tebow be a fit for the Buffalo Bills in 2012?

The Buffalo Bills landed arguably the biggest free agent in this year’s class other than QB Peyton Manning, could they also land QB Tim Tebow and if so, would he be a good fit? After Peyton Manning agreed in principal with the Denver Broncos yesterday, the Broncos are now expected to entertain trade offers for QB Tim Tebow. At the right price, Tebow might be a very...

Bills lock up Anderson with four year agreement

A week removed from their blockbuster signing of defensive end Mario Williams, the Bills continued their defensive line overhaul, reportedly agreeing to a four year contract with defensive end Mark Anderson (Patriots). There’s no word yet on the exact financials for the deal, but it should be reasonable given Anderson’s average level of production. Anderson, 28, spent the first...

Mario Williams to the Bills: Breaking Down the Deal

A week removed from one of the biggest deals in Buffalo Bills history and I am still just as excited as I was that thursday afternoon. Signing All-Pro Defensive End Mario Williams to a earth shattering six year, $100 million deal with a guaranteed $50 million for a small market, usually conservative team like Buffalo seemed like a laughable dream until the talks about Mario visiting...

Schobel, a longtime Bill who retired before last season after wavering somewhat about it, recently has been contacted by a few teams and is at least contemplating a return. Season Summary: Which one? The Bills yin and yang 2011 started with a top ranked offense, a top ranked running game, an INT hungry defense, and a 5-2 record that included big wins over the rival Patriots (the first in 15 games) and the Eagles. Buffalo had first in the AFC East, the NFL was being introduced to names like Fred Jackson and Ryan Fitzpatrick, and there was much rejoicing...
