Mike Nugent Looks At Ball After Kicking Game Winning Field Goal
In what can be described as getting a dose of their own medicine, the Buffalo Bills blew a 14-point second-half lead and fell to the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on Sunday afternoon.
Buffalo came out sluggishly for the third consecutive week and looked confused going up against the Bengals 3rd ranked defense. The game started out as a defensive battle and would remain so until late in the game.
Cincinnati was the only team to get on the board in the first quarter as Mike Nugent hit a 31-yard field goal late in the first quarter to put the Bengals in front 3-0 early.
The Bengals 3-0 lead would be their only momentum in the first half. The Bills quickly responded with a field goal of their own to tie the game up a 3-3.
Lindell’s 43-yard field goal was the beginning of a 17-0 run for the Bills, which featured a 43-yard interception return touchdown by Bryan Scott and a 2-yard Fred Jackson touchdown run.
