The Buffalo Bills have avoided another serious injury in a season that has otherwise been filled with them. Rookie cornerback Aaron Williams, a second-round draft pick out of Texas, is expected to miss only one game with a right knee injury. Williams hobbled off during Sunday's loss to the Titans late in the third quarter. When he was ruled out for the game and coach Chan Gailey said afterward that more tests were being conducted, thoughts of a season-ending injury were inevitable given the team's injury history this year. The Bills have 14 players on injured reserve, including 10 who started the season on the 53-man roster. "Not as bad as it could've been," Gailey said of Williams' injury. "I don't know if he'll play this week, but I think he's got a real shot for the next game."

Spiller TD & stat details
Some stat geeks and fantasy footballers wondered why C.J. Spiller was credited with a 35-yard touchdown in Sunday's game, after he fumbled 30 yards into a run at the Titans' 5 then recovered in the end zone. Often teams are credited with miscellaneous yardage on fumble recoveries.
Mike Haim, who provides the Bills with expert stats consulting on game days, explains: The...
Bills Lose CB Aaron Williams To Knee Injury Vs Titans
The Buffalo Bills lost cornerback Aaron Williams to a knee injury in the third quarter of Sundays 23-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Williams, the teams second-round draft pick in April out of Texas, limped off the field under his own power, but went to the locker room shortly thereafter. Williams was having tests after the game on his right knee. He had taken over as a starter...

Titanic Loss For Buffalo
See you in September Buffalo. The Bills streak has reached to 5 after losing 23-17 against the Tennessee Titans, and all hopes of reaching the playoffs are now gone. The Bills will now be playing for pride and draft position. I had predicted at the beginning of the season that Buffalo would go 7-9, but realistically can they win 2 more games? They finish the season playing San Diego...
Tennessee Titans 23, Buffalo Bills 17
The Buffalo Bills just couldn’t convert all of the yards they got offensively into enough points to win today. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 29 of 46 passes for 288 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs. C.J. Spiller was pretty solid in this game as he rushed for 83 yards on 14 carries (5.9 ypc) with 1 TD run. He also caught 3 passes for 19 yards (6.3 avg) for the Bills in this game...
Fools' Gold; The Bills Were Too Good To Be True
Sometimes the NFL's landscape changes faster than we can adjust for those changes. This is one of those cases. Five weeks ago, the Buffalo Bills were 5-2 and in the chase for an AFC East crown. Five weeks and five losses later, their season is all but over. With their latest loss, coming at the hands of the Tennessee Titans, any hopes of a post-season run do seem to be lost...
Finish strong the mantra now
Ending a five-game losing streak is naturally the first order of business for the Bills as they head to San Diego this weekend. If they can do that the players know it’s step one toward achieving what is quickly becoming the primary goal for the team.
Head coach Chan Gailey said on Monday that there’s a sense of urgency to get that accomplished with four games to play.
“You...

Says Bills coach Chan Gailey of rookie LB Kelvin Sheppard, “Where he has got to continue to get better at is just understanding the whole concept of [the] defense and becoming a better communicator in there.
