Unable to recall the last time he didn't have a season derailed by injury, Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee looks to the heavens, wondering if the ''NFL gods,'' as he calls them, are trying to send him a message.
If they are, the nine-year NFL veteran's not listening.
McGee's no quitter. He's shown resilience in coming back from numerous operations that have limited him to playing 26 games over the past three seasons.
And he's not about to give up now while understanding his future could hinge on whether his surgically repaired left knee will be healed in time for training camp next month.
McGee, when healthy, maintains 100 percent confidence in his abilities. And yet, McGee's realistic enough to acknowledge he's running out of chances to prove it.

Since it’s been a few weeks since I analyzed the Buffalo Bills’ 1997 NFL Draft, here’s a link to my original post, where I explain (in painstaking detail) the format of this project. However, the format is quite simple, so I don’t believe any prerequisite reading will be necessary to follow along. Today, I will be grading and analyzing one of the largest blunders in recent...
Vince Young apparently has fallen victim to the same kind of situation that has plagued pro athletes for decades.

The Buffalo Bills official Twitter account stated that wide receiver Stevie Johnson was seen running routes at “half speed” during Monday’s practice.
Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Buffalo said that Johnson was seen doing some individual drills today.
Johnson is still recovering from offseason groin surgery. At this point it looks like he’ll certainly be...
Dorin Dickerson was one of the most fascinating prospects of the 2010 NFL Draft class. He played pretty much every position known to man at Pittsburgh, playing wide receiver, tight end, fullback, and linebacker. He also was productive in his final season at Pittsburgh, catching 49 passes for 529 yards and 10 touchdowns as primarily a tight end. He also ran the 40 in the 4.4s, but...
A 2nd round pick in 2009, Andy Levitre finally emerged as an above average player last year, after 2 mediocre years in 2009-2010. Levitre ranked 6th among all guards on ProFootballFocus last season, making 12 starts at left guard. He also made 3 starts at left tackle and 1 at center, though he graded out much better at guard than anywhere else. He allowed 5 sacks and 11 pressures...
Vince Young's allegations that his former financial adviser Ron Peoples cheated the quarterback out of millions of dollars are described as ''hollow'' and ''without merit.''
In response to a lawsuit filed by the Buffalo Bills player in Houston this week, Peoples' attorney David Chaumette released a statement saying his client did nothing wrong...
This is a big season for the Bills. Last time expectations were this high going into a season was 2003. The Bills signed Takeo Spikes, Sam Adams & Lawyer Milloy that off season. Fast forward ten (10!!) years and add another big splash in the free agency market and a solid draft, and you have people around these parts not only talking playoffs, but SUPER BOWL!
Buffalo Bills quarterback Vince Young filed a lawsuit against his former agent and financial advisor late Monday, claiming they misappropriated millions since he was drafted in 2006 by the Tennessee Titans.
Young’s suit accuses his former agent Major Adams II, as well as financial adviser Ronnie T. Peoples with fraud, unjust enrichment, conversion, breach of...
After an exhausting five games away their first eight, including a two week road trip to the West coast, I've got Buffalo coming in to week 10 at 5-3 so far, with big wins over the Patriots week 3 and the Titans week 7 to this point of the season. However, the Bills road woes continue to start here, with a week 10 trip to Gillette stadium, as well as a short week before playing...
We mentioned earlier that Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson was limited in Monday’s practice.
Johnson told reporters after practice that he is “way ahead of schedule” after undergoing offseason groin surgery.
“I’m ready to go,” Johnson said. “They said it was about six to eight [weeks for recovery], but I’m feeling like I’m ready to be out...

Fickle bunch we are.
The lot of us – Bills fans, sports fans, people.
It’s applicable everywhere, but when it comes to our football team, specifically our quarterback, we may just be the touchiest group of babies there are.
Last season, after years – excruciating years without a competent quarterback, we entered the...
