Pro Sports Daily:
Punter Brad Moorman was released by the Bills, who re-signed rookie Shawn Powell, according to the Buffalo News. Moorman, a former Pro Bowl punter, was reportedly let go for struggling with directional punts. Bills running back Fred Jackson tweeted: "WTF??? Released Mooreman??? For What??" A vested veteran, Moorman will receive his full $1.425 million base salary as termination pay, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Should he sign with another team, he would still keep the money from the Bills.
BEST OF MAXIM
For most Buffalo Bills fans there is no team despised quite like Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Yes, that’s me rooting for a Brady season ending injury each week. There is good reason for the hate. You see, the Buffalo Bills have been on the losing end of the match-up for some time now and frustration starts to mount as a die-hard fan.
After seven straight series sweeps...
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson says he feels OK after returning to practice for the first time since spraining his right knee on Sept. 9
The next test, Jackson said Wednesday, is how his knee feels Thursday morning to determine how ready he might be to play against New England this weekend.
Jackson said he felt only a little pain after practicing on a limited basis. He...
After a bit of a delay, we’re back with the second edition of Crossing The Moats. Remember, you can leave a comment, tweet, or post on facebook if you have a question you want answered:
1. Have you taken pride in being looked at to be a leader on this team?
Yes I definitely have and I will continue to lead by example through my preparation and performance as well.
2. Do you have...
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson is expected to play against New England on Sunday, barring any last-minute setback to his sprained right knee.
Coach Chan Gailey provided the update after Jackson took part in most of practice Thursday. It was his second straight workout since he was hurt in a season-opening loss at the New York Jets.
Jackson's return would provide a...
Bills running back Fred Jackson (sprained LCL) said on a Monday night radio show that "Unless something completely unexpected happens, I will be ready to go Sunday."Fantasy Spin:Great news for fantasy owners. Jackson's replacement, C.J. Spiller, led the league in rushing through two weeks, but injured his shoulder against Cleveland and is doubtful for Week 4. That gives...
Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller is expected to be out one or two weeks with a sprained A/C joint in his shoulder, CBS Sports reported Monday. Spiller was carted off the field in Cleveland in the first quarter on Sunday. He caught a short pass from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and was injured at the end of a 25-yard play. The Bills feared Spiller separated the shoulder...
I've been to about 20 or so games at McFaddens since I've moved to NYC 10 years ago. Boy, let me tell you how many of those games sucked. I'd be drinking..angerly, while watching Kelly Holcomb or JP Losman guide the Bills to 200 yards in total offense in a thrilling 21-11 loss. However, no matter how bad the game was, you could always set your clock to the bar...
If you’re a Bills fan–and even if you’re not–you might have noticed the Twitter hashtag “#BillsMafia” attached to football tweets, especially during games. But if you’re not a Bills fan–or maybe even if you are–you probably don’t know exactly what it means.
Turns out, you’re not alone.
Lifelong Bills fan Del Reid “co-created” the phrase, but he didn’t...
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, the Cowboys have signed free agent punter Brian Moorman, formerly of the Bills.
Punter Chris Jones has a knee injury, which could land him on IR.
As it has been previously noted on this site, when you mix rowdy NFL fans and alcohol bad things are bound to happen.

Buffalo Bills 24, Cleveland Browns 14Another week down, another very efficient outing for Ryan Fitzpatrick (218 total yards, 3 TDs) yet again. Fitzpatrick is showing that as long as his team can stay balanced with the running attack and either play with a lead or close to it, he can put up fantasy worthy stats. Brandon Weeden (237 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs) had a very uneven performance...
