Bills DE Chris Kelsay announced his retirement on Wednesday after 10 NFL seasons. Kelsay entered the league in 2003 with the Bills and did not miss a game in his first four seasons. From 2008-10, Kelsay started every game. Kelsay finishes his career with 440 tackles, 32½ sacks, two safeties, 22 passes defensed, three interceptions and eight forced fumbles. The 2006 season was arguably his post productive, when Kelsay had 61 tackles, 5½ sacks and four passes defensed. “I want to thank Mr. Wilson for the opportunity he gave me 10 years ago to be a Buffalo Bill,” said Kelsay in a statement released by the team. “One of my goals was to finish my career with the team that drafted me and that came to fruition. I feel very blessed to say that.” “Chris has been the consummate professional throughout his career and we will miss him. He always gave 100 percent, regardless of the situation and regardless of the score,” said GM Buddy Nix. “He did everything with class and was an excellent team leader. Everyone in our organization from the players to the coaches to the front office personnel have the utmost respect for Chris. I know he will be successful in whatever he chooses to do next and I speak for everyone at One Bills Drive when I say that we wish him and his family nothing but the best.” Source: Pro Football Weekly

Buffalo Bills 2013 NFL Draft: 4-Round projections

The Buffalo Bills in 2012 left plenty to be desired. Was the Mario Williams signing really worth it when he didn’t do anything to change the team? Yet, the Bills fell for it, they fell for the name and who he used to be and ended up wasting money... Read more

My ode to Chris Kelsay

Before I completely diss Chris Kelsay (If you are regular readers you shouldn't be shocked that I'm going there), I'll give all you Kelsay fans some nice bouquets before I pull a gun out of it and shoot your prism of mediocrity fandom. My favorite Kelsay story was one repeated by Jerry Sullivan about how he'd found Kelsay at a bar by Ralph Wilson Stadium soon...
