The Bills offense showed that they are not the reason Buffalo is the last winless team in the NFL. A strong effort by Ryan Fitzpatrick in a tough road matchup against one of the better defenses in the NFL didn’t change a familiar result for the Bills on Sunday.
The Bills weren’t able to ‘circle the wagons’ during a 24-0 run by the Ravens for a stretch during the second and third quarters. After all, closing the deal isn’t something this team has had many opportunities to do in recent seasons. The Bills out-gained the Ravens 514-364 but three third quarter turnovers, two of which that led to points for Baltimore, did Buffalo in. The Bills came back to tie the game in the fourth quarter but missed opportunities and turnovers ultimately killed them.
The good news is that the Ravens decent rushing game was held to a manageable 135 yards in it’s own house. This has been a key issue with the 2010 Bills because if the moderately effective offense ...
