NFL Injury Report:
Buffalo Bills quarterback, E.J. Manuel, returned to practice
on Sunday, reports Kevin
Patra of NFL.com. Manuel has been
sidelined most of the preseason with knee issues and recently had arthroscopic
Manuel’s return was expected after Saturday’s cut down
because the Bills only kept two QBs, Manuel and fellow rookie, Jeff Tuel. The Bills’ other QB, Kevin Kolb, was placed
on the injured reserve list (concussion) and is gone for the season.
It is still unclear who will be the Week 1 starter. Earlier reports out of Orchard Park had Tuel
getting the nod. However, now that
Manuel is back in action, Tuel’s regular season debut could be “two-ninety” road
Most football talking heads would ask, does it really matter
who is QB for the Bills in Week 1 when Brady’s bunch rolls into town? I think it does, if only for the fact that we
get to see how a rookie QB will respond to ruthless adversity.
