Bills Elect Six Captains for 2011

Andra Davis will serve as a team captain this season The players on the Buffalo roster have elected to name six players as captains for the 2011 season – QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, RB Fred Jackson, DT Kyle Williams, LB Andra Davis, S George Wilson, and P Brian Moorman. The offense will be represented by a pair of first-time captains in Fitzpatrick and Jackson. As the unquestioned starting quarterback, it makes complete sense that Fitz was given the nod – in fact, I’d have been concerned if he wasn’t elected. Jackson is also an obvious choice. Working your way up from Division III Coe College and minor league indoor football to starting NFL running back shows tremendous character.
