Jerry Sullivan tweets that Bills G Andy Levitre indicated that he will seek the best available offer during free agency.
Levitre, 26, is clearly one of the best offensive lineman in this year’s free agent class and the Bills are more than aware of this. They already locked up fellow G Kraig Urbik to a four-year, $15 million contract extension not too long ago. The top five average salaries for NFL guards ranges from $7.2 to $9.5 million, so the Bills will have to be willing to come close to these figures to ensure that Levitre is back next season.
The franchise tag is also a possibility, but they have other free agents to address like S Jairus Byrd .
We have Levitre listed as the No. 9 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
