The Buffalo Bills got an early start on trimming their roster.  They’ll need to be down to 80 players by this Tuesday, Aug. 30 and on Sunday afternoon, the Bills released six players and now will have to release just one more player by Tuesday.

Among the six released were wide receiver Paul Hubbard, who just last night caught three passes for 39 yards including a later fourth quarter touchdown and the game-tying two-point conversion with :38 seconds left to play.   Also released were running back Anthony Elzy, guard Isiah Thompson, punter Reid Forrest, cornerback Loyce Means and safety Rajric Coleman.

As I mentioned previously, with the Bills releasing six players they now have to make one more cut by Tuesday to get down to 80 players.  The full cut down to the 53-man roster will take place later on this week.
