Earlier today, the Buffalo Bills placed their franchise tag on S Jarius Byrd. Their other big-name free agent is G Andy Levitre, who many believe is the best available guard on the market. Levitre told the Buffalo News on Friday that he hasn’t even heard from the team regarding a long-term extension. “I haven’t been offered anything yet. We’re waiting around to see if something will pop up,” said Levitre. “…It would be in the Bills’ best interests to at least throw me an offer to see if we can get this thing rolling. There’s a lot of unknown for me. If the Bills offer me a fair deal, I would love to stay there.“ Levitre added that he’s thought about pursuing a huge contract this offseason, but mentions that he would like to get something done with the Bills. We have Levitre listed as the No. 17 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list. The post Bills Have Made No Effort To Re-Sign G Andy Levitre appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
