Bills veteran cornerback Terrence McGee and receiver David Nelson are among the regulars listed inactive for Buffalo's preseason opener against Washington on Thursday.
McGee has had limited practice time in training camp while recovering from left knee surgery. Nelson missed most of practice last week with a strained right knee. Starting center Eric Wood (knee) was also inactive.
The Redskins did not announce any inactive players, but did release several lineup changes mostly involving their banged-up offensive line.
Maurice Hurt started at left guard in place of Kory Lichtensteiger (knee), and Adam Gettis started at right guard in place of Chris Chester (sprained ankle). Tyler Polumbus started at right tackle in place of Jammal Brown (hip) who is on the physically unable to perform list.

As we enter the new season, the Buffalo Bills have the same old problem, they have no true stand out quarterback. Since Jim Kelly departed the Buffalo Bills, after the 1996 season, the Bills have been searching near and far, high and low, trying to find a legitimate...

During his press conference today in front of Ralph Wilson Stadium, he has rolled out his plan to help the Bills stay put.
RULED A TOUCHBACK?
The referees in the Buffalo Bills vs Washington Redskins first preseason game called this punt, that was clearly downed at the Redskins 4 yard line, a touchback. Bills coach Chan Gailey had to actually burn a challenge on this ridiculous call.

The first week of the NFL preseason officially got underway last night and the NFL's replacement referees didn't exactly have the greatest of calls.
During the Buffalo Bills/Washington Redskins game, a punt by Bills punter Brian Moorman was called down at the 4-yard line but was called touchback on the field.

Tonight the Bills are hosting Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins in their first preseason game at 7 pm.
