Bills vs. Dolphins: The future of Chan Gailey

“The Buck stops with me. I understand that.” Huddled over a podium in the warmth of the Rogers Centre press area, Chan Gailey may have proven to be more profit-like in the moments following the Buffalo Bills 50-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks than he ever would have liked to.  In front of a luke warm crowd of just over 40,000 at the Rogers Centre the Bills came out flat...

Scott Chandler Done For Season

Ryan Fitzpatrick Expected To Play Week 17

Coach Chan Gailey said that Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick would play in the season finale.Fantasy Spin:The Bills could have looked at Tyler Thigpen or Tarvaris Jackson, but they obviously think their best chance to win the game is with Fitzpatrick. The news keeps Stevie Johnson as a No. 1 fantasy option.

Ryan Fitzpatrick v. Chan Gailey: Who Should Stay and Who Should Go?

Howard Simon of WGR550 recently asked Buffalo Bills fans who they would rather see return to the team in 2013. Realistically, both Gailey and Fitzpatrick could leave the team following the season, but I like this scenario. Having to choose just one person to stay creates quite an argument among Bills fans. Some believe that Ryan Fitzpatrick deserves to show what he could do in a...

NFL Cougar Highlights: Week 16

WHILE THE BUFFALO Bills have had a nightmare of a year, kicker Rian Lindell has put together a dream season. The Washington State great has been near perfect, missing just one field goal through 15 games.

True or False: Bills/Dolphins Edition

True or false: The Bills/Dolphins game is totally meaningless? True. Okay, that’s a bit harsh, as there are draft implications, but it’s unfortunate that this game has no playoff implications (Dolphins are still alive but they need a miracle to sneak into the playoffs). Back when I was a child it seemed that the Bills and Dolphins had one of the top rivalries in the NFL and generally...

Finding your next Bills' coach: Don't hate on retreads

Anyone but Chan Gailey, right? We can all agree, Gailey brings nothing more than what Dick Jauron brought to the table. Like the two of them, they have horrible gameday management skills, a (false) perception of being innovative with one side of the ball while ignoring the other side, and for whatever reasons, their players love them and would rather lose than see their mentors...

Gameday Deciding Factors: Bills at Dolphins

BY SEAN DONOVANNot much has gone well for the Buffalo Bills (5-9) this season, but completing the sweep of the host Miami Dolphins (6-8) would be some measure of consolation for a team missing the playoffs for the 13th consecutive year. (photo: Matt Britt, Flickr)In the first meeting in November, Buffalo's defense stymied Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill en route to a 19-14...

Bills/Dolphins recap: 24-10

Today some of our writers had a get together at Amherst Ale House and for nearly the entire time, we just talked about how ****** the Bills have become. We went over memories of futility. From Dick Jauron to Wade Phillips, it was as if we were being visited by 3 ghosts. The ghosts of past football failures. For the most part, I didn't even watch the game. At one point...
