NFL Trade Rumors:
Bills rookie QB E.J. Manuel has been cleared to return to the practice field, per Mike Rodak.
Still, the decision as to whether or not Manuel will play against the Steelers in Week 10 is up to HC Doug Marrone.
“Definitely looking forward to getting [back to] practice full course, getting as many reps as Coach allows me to get,” Manuel said Monday. “It’s his decision at the end of the day.“
Manuel suffered a sprained LCL during the Bills Week 5 loss to the Cleveland Browns. At the time of the injury, Manuel was given a four to six week timetable, so a return next weekend remains on par with the team’s initial expectations.
The Bills were forced to start Jeff Tuel as Thad Lewis is dealing with a number of injuries since he took over for Manuel a few weeks ago.
We’ll have more on Manuel’s status throughout the week.

Buffalo's franchise QB E.J. Manuel has been cleared to practice, according to Bills beat reporter Mike Rodak.Fantasy Spin:That means he could play as soon as Week 10. On the other hand they could be conservative in a season that is already lost and wait as far as after their Week 12 bye. His fantasy owners as well as those of Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods would like an early return.
After that ugly performance by Jeff Tuel, the Bills are chomping at the bits to get E.J. Manuel back under center.
