PLAYERS: Mike Caussin
TEAMS: Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Mike Caussin says he's been informed by the team that he'll be placed on season-ending injured reserve because his surgically repaired right knee has not yet fully healed. Caussin revealed the news to The Associated Press before practice Monday, the final day in which the Bills had to determine whether to activate Caussin. The second-year player opened the season on the unable-to-perform/reserve list, which provided him a three-week window to return to the active roster after Week 8. Caussin accepted the team's decision, saying his knee was not yet strong enough to handle the extra workload of practice over the past three weeks. He had surgery in January after tearing two ligaments in a 40-14 win over Denver on Dec. 24.

Bills S Byrd following in father's footsteps

Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. He dreamed of being an NFL defensive back just like his father, Gill Byrd, a two-time Pro Bowl selection during a 10-year career with San Diego. As a youngster, Byrd would audition for the role. He'd put on a Chargers helmet and pretend to be his dad. Some 20 years later, the Byrd family legacy for...

Where are they now? TE Scott Chandler

He looks back on his time in San Diego in this interview with SDBoltReport.com.

Bills' pass rush regains depth, options with Kelsay

With the return of defensive end Chris Kelsay to the field, the Buffalo Bills' pass rushing squad regained more than a veteran presence: It now has some much-needed flexibility. Kelsay practiced individually Monday for the first time since a ligament tear in his neck put him on the sidelines nearly two weeks ago. The 10-year vet was upbeat about his progress, telling reporters...

Psy to bring “Gangnam Style” to Seahawks-Bills game

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know of -- and likely even have memorized -- "Gangnam Style," the chart-topping, wildly infectious tune by Korean pop star Psy. (For those residing under said rock, this'll get you up to speed.) The dance, which is arguably more popular than the song itself, has been imitated many times over. Those who've rode...

C.J. Spiller: Ryan Fitzpatrick is the “best quarterback that I’ve played with”

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller was on the Dan Patrick show and claimed that Ryan Fitzpatrick is the best quarterback he’s ever played with. “He doesn’t. I give him a hard time about it but I love him to death,” said Spiller. “He’s probably the best quarterback that I’ve played with. … Because on my runs, if I ever bounce it, I know if my quarterback’s out...

Bills Chick gives thanks

As we round out Week 10 with a 4-6 record, I’m beginning to feel weak. Maybe it’s because there are only six weeks of the regular season left, meaning seven dismal football-less months loom. Or, it could be because I’ve been too poor to attend the bar for two weeks and am suffering from Bills fan withdrawal, an affliction that occurs when you haven’t seen a Buffalo logo or...

Week 11 NFL Live Blog

If you start a Sunday live blog in a week in which the Buffalo Bills have already played, will anyone see it? I hope to hear from Payne/Stopa/Nowak et al, but the Buffalo Mafia might all be out with their respective families. Meanwhile, I hope that Jay Glazer's report on Darren Sproles not playing is accurate. It would be nice to have accurate news on an inactive for the...
