Buffalo Bills rookie receiver Roberts Woods has told The Associated Press he has been fined $15,000 by the NFL for punching Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones last weekend. Woods, who was ejected after throwing the punch, says he wasn't surprised upon receiving notice from the league when he arrived for practice Thursday. The altercation was in the third quarter of Buffalo's 19-0 win. Woods and Jones became tangled up during a running play and eventually wrestled each other to the ground. Woods was unhappy with how Jones threw him into a pile of players following the whistle. Jones was on one knee and had his back turned when Woods caught him with an uppercut across the facemask. Woods says he regrets losing his cool. --- AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org

Even though not one of us will actually watch it. So let’s take a gander at which Bills players made the cut and which Jets players made the alternate list and which Giants players will sit at home and not watch...

Thad Lewis to Start for Buffalo

The Patriots now know which Buffalo Bills quarterback the team will face on Sunday. The Bills have decided to give the starting spot to Thad Lewis and sit starter E.J. Manuel for the final game of the season. Manuel has a sprained LCL in his left knee and the Bills want to preserve the health of their presumed starting quarterback moving into next season. Of course, this...

Thad Lewis Will Start For Buffalo in Week 17

Bills QB Thad Lewis will make another start Sunday against New England.Fantasy Spin:E.J. Manuel is done for the year with a sprained knee. While Lewis hasn't been a total disaster this season (3 TD, 77.8 QB rating in five games), he certainly can't be trusted in championship week. Leave him on the waiver wire where he belongs.

BY NICK ST. DENISYear in, year out, Buffalo Bills fans are told that their team is on its way to better things. Just be patient. But year in, year out, the results are mostly the same. The Bills have gone 14 straight seasons without a playoff berth and haven't had a winning record since 2004.2013 has sang a familiar tune. Heading into the season finale, Buffalo is weeks removed...

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots: 2013 Week 17 NFL Pick

Buffalo Bills (6-9) at New England Patriots (11-4) I’m torn on this. On one hand, New England hasn’t been doing a lot of winning pretty this season. Of their 11 wins, only 4 have come by more than a touchdown and one of those, a 27-17 win over Miami, was a lot closer than the final score would suggest. On top of that, just 5 of the Patriots’ wins have come by more than a field...
